Upon hearing that Daniel Perry received a one star review for doing nothing more than his patriotic duty of protecting his rider from armed protestors Greg Abbott’s Dictator fantasies kicked into high gear. Pressured by little boy Rittenhouse Abbott had no choice but to go after the ride-share giant.
Uber claims that the review does not meet the requirements for removal as it is an honest review. They also claimed that they do extensive background checks to make sure other riders don’t become backseat witnesses to murder. A new feature has been proposed that shows your drivers political ideology so that you can better find a ride that is likeminded.
As of writing Abbott had no comment on the progress of this motion. Uber says it will take a lot more NRA donations before it’s willing to budge on the removal of said review.
