Is it a Bus? Is it a Car? Nope, it’s Buscar. If you have traveled anywhere in Austin you have without a doubt seen Buscar tagged literally everywhere. This weekend it seems Buscar has struck at the heart of Austin. Not only did Buscar deface the Daniel Johnston piece, it appears Buscar tore down the building that it was painted on. Whoever or whatever Buscar is, this needs to stop!
Security has been on high alert around the I love you so much piece waiting for Buscar to strike at any moment. If you know anything that could lead to the identification of this infamous artist we ask that you comment on this post and relay any information or sightings you may have.
EDIT:
Since writing this the Daniel Johnston piece has already been restored. The building was not as fortunate and could not be restored despite our best efforts.
