10 year old from Briny Breezes, Florida, Natthew Johnson, has become the first person ever to beat Super Mario World for Super Nintendo.
After completing every level, including all of the Special World levels and even Bowser, Natt unlocked a special screen where the color scheme changes on the over-world and many of the baddies have had their appearance altered.
Many people called shenanigans when the claim was first submitted to various record holder sites like Twin Galaxies and Guinness World Records. Some say the image above was photoshopped. In over 30 years since it’s initial release no one has ever beaten this game. Once thought to be unbeatable for now it appears child prodigy Natthew Johnson has done the unthinkable. Official will continue to investigate to confirm the authenticity of this claim but as of now it seems to be genuine.
